A screenshot of the gallery dated in your files helps if the listing mutates after you book. Another article on this site already said screenshot the listing. Do it.

Sleeping arrangements in photos, not just a floor plan. The view from the bed toward the road. The kitchen counter, not just the island bowl of lemons. Ask for a video walkthrough if the stay is long or expensive.

• Work-from-villa Wi-Fi is a different article — still ask for a speed screenshot.
• Neighbors and quiet hours do not photograph well. Read reviews for parties.
• Filters on water are not the same as a drone over the bay.
• A host who refuses a recent photo of the pool in winter is telling you something.
